We are looking for ECE teachers who are happy to be contacted at short notice to cover staff absences.
Located in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is
the local Māori authority for Hastings and the surrounding
district. The organisation is a leading Māori health,
education and social service provider that has excellent
facilities, resources, staffing and infrastructure.
Te Tirahou is a bilingual early childhood centre based in
Hastings. We are currently recruiting for suitably experienced ECE
teachers to add to our pool of relievers who are kind, caring,
nurturing, enthusiastic and love working with children under 5.
Being an on call casual staff member you will be happy to be
contacted at short notice to cover staff absences, or can be
available to work when asked in advance to cover for staff
undertaking professional development or planned leave.
We are looking for ECE teachers that have the following:
• A passion for the education and care of young children
• Previous experience working in a childcare environment
• Able to work independently within a team
• Focused on providing quality care and education
• Flexible and reliable.
