General Manager Operations Support
Nathan Harrington
Nathan is of Māori and
European decent and is affliated to Rangiwaho, Te Aitanga a Mahaki,
Rongowhakaata and Ngai Tamanuhiri in the Turanga (Gisborne) region
and Rongomaiwahine in Mahia through his mother and his father is
from Colchester England.
Nathan is the General Manager of
Social Services and Education and as such he is responsible for the
provision of the following services to the community: Family Start
Programme; Teen Parent Coordination; Te Whare Karamu Services;Youth
Transition Services, Tiaki Tamariki Tamariki Youth Services; Office
Systems and the Early Childhood Education centre.
Nathan holds various qualifications
including a Bachelor of Business Studies and Diploma in Business
majoring in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Adult
Education.
Nathan has worked in human resource, learning and development and
organizational development roles with a wide variety of
organisations including industry training organisations,
polytechnics, private training providers, and wananga.
